Hanging out in the afternoon. All the kids came over and we had a barbeque for them.

All the kids came over and spent the afternoon at our house. About 6:00 the guys left and the girls started getting ready. The guys came back around 7:30, but of course the girls weren't ready until after 8:00. They were all beautiful. With the exception of Emelia and Mason, they weren't really on dates. These kids all hang around together and decided to go to the prom, but just as friends. I think this was really nice because there was no dating pressure. It didn't change their desire to look great. What you can't see is that Chelsea was wearing a pair of Converse tennis shoes under her dress. That's just like her. All of the kids said they had a great time and they are all hanging out together again tonight.

Chelsea looked stunning! Very pretty!! I can't believe how grown up she is now. She was only nine when we moved here. Time sure flies by. I am glad they had fun. I am also happy that you have your walking boot now.
What a gorgeous dress! (And daughter too, of course!) How fun!
